"Wh-what?!" Azar exclaimed, looking around at himself in shock. One moment he had been peacefully going about the city, gathering supplies for his next project, and the next he was swelling up until he was stuck in the middle of the street. Once again, the former warrior had fallen victim to another bloating from out of nowhere. The white dragon wobbled from side to side, trying to get his arms or legs to reach the ground. But his sudden expansion left him immobile ball.
"This shouldn't be happening! That amulet I bought was supposed to prevent unwanted magic attacks!" he cried out, trying to wobble from side to side while lurching forward to get some sort of movement. He even flapped his wings to help get a little lift and lighten the load a bit. His workshop wasn't far from there and he would much rather wait off all the extra weight inside the privacy of his home than out in the open.
Panting heavily from the force of moving so much scale and fat, Azar managed to squeeze himself inside his workshop after an hour to go down two blocks. He slammed the door shut and waddle-wobbled his way over to his work table. "This is going to take a while to metabolize away. I guess I better get working on those new designs I came up with." he said with a shrug. At least he had ordered the mechanical parts to be delivered inside his workshop.
Outside Azar's workshop, a lone figure peered on through, smiling and giving a light snicker to themselves. That little amulet Azar had bought was nothing more than typical jewelery. They knew how desperate the white dragon was to prevent surprise inflation and fattening attacks, but they couldn't pass the opportunity to pass this joke up. With one last glance at the bloated-up drake, they disappeared into the night.
Azar can't explain why, but he's always a popular victim to sudden inflations or fattenings. Especially by magic, which is one of the reasons he distrusts magic so much. But, even at this size, his wonderful metabolism will have him back into fighting shape after a week or two. As for who snuck him the fake amulet and caused this? I'll leave that up to you to decide. Though chances are good it was any one of his friends.

I suppose my reputation as a warrior and inventor is easily forgotten when the adorableness increases with my weight. I don't know if it's a blessing or a curse to look good with a big belly.
And thank you! I've been wanting to write another full story, but can't figure out what I want to do it on. At least these quick ones help add a little something to each picture.

Well it indeed seems that you may have a mysterious admirer. In seeing you getting fattened up, of course; though on the bright side at least it seems that someone likes seeing you get bigger. :D
Also, if he hates magic so much, then why would buy a magic stopping amulet when he could rather use his workshop to craft something which will prevent magic? :D Ah I dunno, you may even need an understanding of magic for that to begin with...

Well, at least it's an admirer. :P
In his haste to find a solution to stopping the "attacks" of being inflated or fattened, Azar went for the first thing that sounded like it would work. But yes, using technology to build something that would stop magic would require an understanding of magic, and include some magic in of itself. Azar unfortunately has no magic abilities of his own.

I would have said "call someone on your phone" but your last point disproved that. Still, the probability of the friend you choose to help you out should b rarely slim, right? Oh, unless all your friends have teamed up or something to do this. And I'd say the probability of that is quite uncertain.
I'd offer to help you, but... Heh, you just look so good like this... X3
