This one started out as one of the ten-minute sketches for that sketch meme I did back over on DA.
Knowing that I was going to see Arrin in Vancouver gave me the extra impetus I needed to finish it.

I packed a tons of little details into the objects on the bulleten board on either side of the door including a grocery list and sticky-notes pointing out that the calendar is out of date (and can we have a guy pin up one next time? The ship's male to female crew ratio is fairly even, after all.) The walls also all got a light coating of metallic colored pencil so they gleam in the light but the scanner missed all of that.

The caracal Aura Cayer here is captain of the good ship Ameterasu and she just walked in on what was almost a crew wide brawl.
