I'M NOT THE ARTIST OF THIS COMIC, I JUST TRANSLATE IT FROM FRENCH TO ENGLISH, FOUND THE ORIGINAL HERE: http://cacestdrole.com/article/lise.....-un-chat/10431 As I wrote upside, I'm not the artist but I translate it, as I already adopted 4 of those cats and as I know how people are disgusted in front of them, I though that would be great to share and make know of the conditions of those cats. In general, those cats are really affective and really nice.

I though I had to do that because in France it's near of 300 000 cats and dogs which are abandoned each years, either let on the side of the road or throw above the barrier of the rescue centres for don't have to pay the endorsement or, sometimes, abandoned at the other side of the country because the animal has a serious illness (I've adopted a cat which came from Amiens, at more than 10h or road from where we found it, which had a tumour, we weren't sure of that but we have been when she died two years after).
And I know it's not a French problem, for exemple, in Spain, the galgos, a species of greyhound, are mistreated by the hunters when they did a bad work or when they became too old for the reproduction. They are hit and abandoned in some very horrible conditions, we already found one of them hanged at a wire in a well, too high for it could touch the ground of its 4 legs but also too low for be killed. Another have been threw from a lorry in functioning and was hit by the car behind, the vet had amputed one of its leg, but this dog is very nice. And there's a lot of other exemple, like the race greyhounds in Great Britain which are cokehead. There's a lot of photos of those animals and they aren't beautiful to see...

Yes, I was talking about the drugs, I'm sorry if my translation is not very good about that (it's not something that we learn to speak about), the online dictionary that I used gave me few choices and this one was really near of the situation of those dogs because they're drugged with cocaine and that has for effect to make fall the teeth.
With the experience that I've got with the greyhounds of my aunt which come from Spain, one of the main problem is the fact that they often want to flee, to go round, but I don't know if it's the species which made that, like the huskies, or if it's because of the bad treatment that they received in Spain. The only way to counter their escape it's to install a fence of 2m - 2.50m, greyhounds can jump very high.
But greyhounds are really affective, they bite very rarely and it's only when they are scared but after, as I told above, I only got the experience of the spanish galgos which were mistreated, I also already saw a greyhound from Ireland which was drugged and put in a cage too small for it, I didn't see in it the terror that some other dogs have but it lived some things which weren't good and now, it lost its teeth. Another problem with greyhound it's when they are young, they've got the habit to be very energetic and to run everywhere and also to destroy a little all they can but they become more calm when they grow up.
