Thanks a lot! I am not usually happy with the way i ink, but i guess this time i was inspired.

this is excellent, if you don't mind, what kind of pens are you using?

Well, i used a Sakura Micron pen (02) for the whole lineart. And a Staedtler pigment liner (0.7) for the outline of the girl.

it was, thanks. I've used those before, they don't work for me cause I've got no sense of pressure....I've gone to using cheap disposable pens with my own technique cause it works for me, but I just found that your lines were super clean :)

Haha, i also have problems with the pressure i use. Half of my pens stopped working not because of the ink, but because i had sunk the tip inside over time without me realizing. I have kind of managed to fix that over time, but i still do it.

What is that technique you developed? If i may know that is.

oh well I just use a nice ballpoint with good ink flow (gels are nice, they don't bleed ink as much) and what I do is for my thick or tapered lines, I'll sort of "outline" the line then fill it in, instead of doing it as one line, I treat it as a shape, if that makes any sense. It's a lot more work, but it works for me, you can check out my gallery to see... a good example of a success with it may be this:

I used to use gelpens a while ago, but the problem is that they take long to dry and i am left handed. So i ended up smudging most of the pieces with ink and it was awful. As for that technique of filling, i do use it on some cases. I also use a black sharpie to fill the spaces at times.
