Finished version of something I did in the early-oughts.
One of the very few drawings I nearly gave up on at the sketch stage. The pose was such that Penelope here kept coming out too "tall". Legs and torso too lengthy, etc.
The end table was a toughie, too. \
So was deciding what else to decorate it with.

Seriously, I'm not sure in *this* particular universe. The universe the 'coons are in, that'd be an easy answer - much of what they have, they cadge from the human world.
But here, where things are somewhat more "civilized"...

Reminds me of my grandparents' old place. ^^ I believe they had a table that looked a bit like that.
Except when I came over, I'd usually be looking at photos that were in this compilation of "LIFE" magazines. What can I say? It was the only book there that had big pictures. X3
