Artwork and character created for a new BL (nothing 18+) game due for Kickstarter some time this year.

Originally an adviser to the old Emperor, Shigan became the grand vizier after the Emperor's death. The new Emperor is yet young, and some in the court are concerned this ambitious young vizier has his eye on the throne.

Shigan is elegant, sophisticated, and very well-read. His strategies had led to many victories against the kingdom's enemies, and forged peace pacts with neighboring territories, bringing peace to border towns that had been plagued by skirmish. With these achievements under his belt by just age twenty-three, Shigan is sometimes a little arrogant, even to the new Emperor. This and his clear brilliance makes many at court resent him, but no one dares challenge his authority in fear of his rather imaginative schemes.

With few friends around him, Shigan prefers to spend his days playing instruments, reading over documents, or strolling through the palace gardens. Most people who happen to meet him on one of his strolls choose to avoid him.

There are also rumors he is the leader of "Anbu" - Shadow Section, a secret service that excels in assassination, kidnapping, and torture. True or not, he has thus earned a reputation for being ruthless and efficiently cruel. A dangerous character to be sure, even the new Emperor must respect his brains if not his methods.
