Generally a pretty chill guy, easy to get along with and talk to, but very easily pushed around by lords of greater power. He is hardest on Rosamund out of his children, mainly because he believes her to be the smartest and have the most potential. Shame she can't inherit the estate without a husband!

Lady Helena Virgost
Mother, Wife to Lord Virgost
Somewhat dowdy (especially in her daughter's eyes), with a very poor sense of romance. Helena is a practical lady, and takes her job as a wife and mother very seriously... Perhaps too seriously! It's not often that she takes leisure time, she is almost always busy with some overseeing some matter or another! She tends to be especially hard on servants, and is often victim to practical jokes carried out by her household staff. She's not a meanhearted woman, per se... But she does tend to be fussy!
(her neck frills and her tail leaves are based on ornamental lillies, no specific variety)

Simon Virgost
Youngest Child
Simon loves playing games with his brother and sister, though he's somewhat whiny. He's young and cute enough that he can get away with it, especially with his nasally little voice!
(Simon's leaves are standard tea leaves, though they're very small and pale right now, kinda like when the leaves are used for white tea I guess)

Olyver Virgost
Middle child
A jokester at heart, Olyver is often assisting the servants with the pranks played on his mother! ... Don't tell her though! There's a lot of pressure on him to inherit the family name and the territory, the best way he knows how to cope is by taking everything as not seriously as possible! Luckily, he's young enough that there's not many repercussions for this behavior... Yet!

Rosamund Virgost
Oldest child
Ladylike, refined, and delicate, Rosamund is the most noteworthy to the main story, due to her future as Margravine! But we're talking backstory right now! She grew up rather sheltered and pampered, carefully being groomed into a marriageable young lady! As such, she has very few ambitions of her own... Rosamund is desperate to break free and be her own person, but she's not really sure how to go about doing it! She enjoys games like chess and nine man morris, and is also pretty good at logical puzzles and arithmetic... But she's still learning about herself, and what kind of person she wants to grow to be. Like many girls her age!
