Sometimes I question whether I should let mind draw what it wants...
Anyway, probably not an unusual occurrence when these two visit Mei's mother. Eric tends to get particularly riled up by her lack of respect while Mei's sort of just learned to accept it. At this point, visiting her mother was likely obligatory. If she didn't, her mother refused to pay her tuition.

You know, until you mentioned that, I hadn't noticed just how uncommon it was. Her pattern sort of came about when I was developing some colors for something I'm working on. With Mei's coat changing during seasons, I wanted to make sure there was some clear resemblance to her mother in the times of year she'd most likely see her. Also visual representation of which parent they take after considering I've yet to draw other members of their family.

I'm glad you enjoy them :) and Eric is certainly an interesting character to work with along with Mei. He's somewhat emotionally unstable at times, but often more so in regards to being upset about another's mistreatment or not being confident with what he's currently feeling. That generally manifests itself in being a bit volatile, especially when Mei isn't willing to stick up for herself in front of her mother who more than deserves few harsh words at this point. But hey, head world stuff, must get back to writing at some point XD.
