Though I have Cikyla in mind as paranormal investigator in general, I do enjoy roleplaying in my mind with my characters from time to time and Cikyla is no exception.

Consider this a sort of alternative version of her who instead of a being an Earth bound adventurer, became a ruthless interstellar warlord, bent on taking over this galaxy, all the others, and eventually all of reality with her army of machine followers.

As where I got this idea from, I probably was inspired by similar character from other fiction such as the brilliant grand admiral Thrawn from Star Wars, the Empire's greatest strategist who five year after the Battle of Endor challenged the Rebellion/New Republic for control of the galaxy. (before those books like every other expanded universe creation was deemed non canon by the House of Mouse).
If I come up with the other characters that inspired me I will mention it.

Warlord Cikyla is as equal a brilliant strategist, cunning, a formidable armed and unarmed fighter, and absolutely ruthless in the pursuit of her goals, caring little to nothing about those who stand in her way or possess something she wants.

However for her it is not about power and being able to command other beings, telling them what to do, think, and feel.
All of that just happens to be a necessary evil for what she really wants, and she makes sure she enforces her rule reasonably unless provoked otherwise.

There is no true malice towards her subjects, if anything more of an indifference as Cikyla has little interest in conquered sentient species regarding culture, ideologies, and so on.
As long as they keep her warmachine running and producing weapons, ships, and war robots, those beings under her rule enjoy a certain degree of freedom, sometimes much more than under their old leadership.

Corruption and organized crime is not even tolerated as it obstructs efficiency and is harshly dealt with unless it suits some grand strategy or plan of hers.

As for what the warlord wants, she will keep this closely to herself until the day comes she is ready to reveal to all.

I definitely will have some more drawings of Cikyla's alternate warlord incarnation as well.
