Refining my rendering. Refining my colouring. Refining the way I paint light so it looks different on different textured surfaces.
I really, really like this piece, and that's rare for me.
Also, 16 year old MySpace furfags - plox to be finding your own 'fursona.' This character represents me in some ways, and not you.

absoloutely wonderful jijix. and i couldnt agree more with you on how those 16 yr old "furfags" out there who can't draw love to steal others work and fursona to credit for their own... utterly pathetic.
I love how you drew this. I myself cant understand worth a dime how to use PS to get this kind of look, or any digital type look for that matter ((other than a little experimenting with glow)) wonder-fur work! I can't praise you enough. and you should be proud with all ur work, not just some. It's ALL beautiful...
sorry for the long comment, i just really got this kind-of fall like serene and peaceful feeling from this pic... and i'll leave it at that.

I really like this one too. He begs to have his story told, very cute. Looks like a highschool student or first year college. His petite frame makes him adorable. The way he rest on the edge of his shoes makes he seam wary of his current situation. Maybe some background information and possible story in the near future.
Excellent work!
I love the tilt of the feet and the overall pose.
If you're going for a more refined texture look, might I make a friendly suggestion? Use a thin brush (I use Photoshop) and pick out a few highlighted strands that don't necessarily go with the total flow of the hair. They kinda curve a little across other hairs. Pick out dark ones too to show a little bit of clumping. Very few people's hair lays smooth and flat.
Again, just a friendly suggestion and if you're going for a completely different look, then it's all good to disregard my idea. =^_^= Everyone has their own way of doing things.
Love it!
