Skunk Fu! Fan Art!
Or, to complete that thought, the real good news is that this will be my last-ever Skunk Fu! Fan Art!
I honestly have no idea what came over me... I just had to draw this.
I HAD TO.
I'm an artist, I'm allowed my eccentricities, darn it. If I don't have those, then what do I have? Arthritis? Screw that. I don't want that. I know because I'm pretty sure I have it.
But yeah, this will never happen again. Ever. So sorry, just move along.
However, I will say that for my first, and last, piece of kid's cartoon fan-art ever, I like the way this came out. It's pretty fulfilling as an artist to be able to picture something in your head and pretty much accurately extract it into the real world. Except, with my little alterations to the style, everything came out a bit more... spooky than I had originally planned. Not that I didn't want it to be, mind you, but it succeeded even beyond my creepy expectations. Maybe it's just the Halloween in the air...
Skunk Fu © Cartoon Saloon or whatever. So don't do what I just did. For money.

I don't care what anyone says. Skunk Fu is a cute kids show with good values for children. And the style is nice.
You got the style down really well in this piece, with only minor variations (Such in your hatching and crosshatching, which I find to be very invective of your style, in a good way), as well as giving strong dynamic motion and weight to characters in such a cartoony style. You also captured Skunk's Irrepressible Joy whenever he's beating the snot out of Ninja Monkeys.

... YAY! :D
*huggles the bunny and wonders if he also writes poetry on the back of fox pornography like that other bunny in that moral kids show*
Also: This was inspired by the episode where Skunk, Fox, and Rabbit tell three different stories for one situation... You know, that classic story set up for the martial arts genre. It was actually really artistic and creative. A lot better than, you know, the large majority of the rest of that network. -.-

Well, Chowder is pure unadulterated Absurdity, which can be good. I can't take it for longer than a single episode, but its okay every once in a while. If I watch it too long I start to think about how all of the food items talk, and how almost every character is named after food.
Flapjack is interesting in that it superimposes an Adorable Saccarine title character over a world seemingly based on grossout humor. It uses a lot of the same Absurd ideas from Chowder, but manages to hold plots together a lot more easily. Also, my sister is corresponding with the Creator. x3
Johnny Test brings us back to a time when cartoons didn't have to be logical, where is the point is to amuse children. A lot of people decry it as a clone of Dexter's Lab, but watching one episode will tell you exactly how wrong that assumption is. It is a different animal, using some of the same ingredients. But both brownies and pasta use flour and eggs.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand the rest is crap.
And most my porn is digital.
Was the weapon in the episode really a staff with a fist on the end of it?

1) True, but sometimes they'll do a meta-episode that references the processes of animating the actual show, and those are always entertaining. Plus: Rada rada.
2) I feel Flapjack is still trying to find its identity, which explains why half of the episodes are not gross or simply not funny. But as long as they keep doing episodes like the one with ole' Punsy in the second season I'll continue to watch it.
3) NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooo... I'll agree it's different, but it's also a stylistic clone of The Fairly Oddparents, only not funny. And he stole my shirt design. :(
4) I miss Billy. :C
5) Print-outs?
6) Yes. Only in the background though. But it might have been a boot instead, now that I think about it.
7) Additional topic.

Reminds me of the episode of Flapjack where the evil inventor guy's minion angsty children wielded a rod with a pointing finger glove on the end like cutlasses. At one point one of the kids got their glove knocked off, leaving a pointed tip. The kid stared at it for a moment, before dropping the weapon and jumping off of Bubbie's back. x3
Skunk fu miss-represents skunks, it's raaaacist...or something, either that or it's a rip off of Kung Fu Panda, or they got ripped off...either way there's people doing kung fu, protagionist is monochrome and...ok I'll stop myself there.
I think you did a cracker-jack job, it's fairly cute, and the show is...well, I've seen it a few times, I'll admit to that.

I'm pretty sure something you just said up there was correct... I think.
I won't defend the show, because for the most part even I think it doesn't deserve that, but I honestly enjoy watching it and think I would even if it didn't star a skunk. It's just too innocent and sweet not too. Also I recall seeing it around before Kung Fu Panda, but that doesn't mean much considering the amount of time put into the individual programs' animation quality.
Glad you like it anyways though. ^^

I've seen small segments of that show on the TV on the way out the door, since now there's a two-year-old in the house. I've never watched enough to make any sense out of anything, and partially because I fear it will be anti-skunk dogma. ~_~
Most things with skunks in them tend to have "Hahaha, skunk spray is stinky!" as their one and only joke.

Actually, the thing I find most intriguing about it is that, while yes there are a ton of stink jokes, Skunk is the star and the show follows him maturing, so he's not so much a running joke as an actual small child that has to deal with the fact that he has a 'disability.' It's quite human, really; in a charming and often amusing way.
Basically, it's not all just a stink joke is what I'm saying.

Speaking of Fanart nobody recognizes, now I'm really tempted to do Klaus Nomi fanart and see how many people recognize it! :D
Actually, I am sketching out some Spy vs. Spy fanart, because I'm a fanfag like that. :B
Lo' and behold one of the rare pieces of fanart that Krat does... and even rarer... it's not Pyramid Head fanart.

Yeah, people are pretty crazy. We're just fine, though.
So pull your human suit up over your point nose and walk around with pride in the fact that you're a-alright normal, and I'll do the same with my big-@$$ bushy tail that keeps me from sitting properly in poorly designed back-support friendly seats. >:O.
