*Height: 5’0’’ – 6’3’’
*Weight: ?
*Lifespan: ?
Origin of Name:
Gravelurkers actually originally got their name from the fact they were grave guardians rather than lurkers. They could often be found watching and maintaining graveyards and cemeteries.
History/Origin:
Gravelurkers have an uncanny ability to communicate with alternate plane creatures at will. They have been considered sorcerers, magicians, wizards, and a handful of other names. Gravelurkers refer to themselves as conjurers though. These creatures can communicate with the other planes, namely the worlds of Distortion and Endless.
Most people are very skeptical about Gravelurkers, but all the same when other cures fail, some get desperate enough to seek the help of these strange creatures. Gravelurkers specialize in a few fields, that of communicating with the other planes—a trait that used to get them seen as being crazy, and very strange medical practices, that more often than not, seem to work.
Appearance and Personality:
Gravelurkers are a tad intimidating by appearance. Some might go as far as to describe them as evil looking. They have a build very similar to that of a Keh’kitteh, feline like. Their faces are usually masked with giant toothy grins. Additionally their clothing cloaks their true appearance and the arms or their true hands usually have large claws.
Despite their somewhat intimidating appearance, Gravelurkers are actually perfectly friendly and fairly harmless. They seem to have no quarrel with anyone but rather enjoy the company of other species. They have been described as eccentric though.
Habitat:
Variable. They used to be found only around cemeteries and graveyards. Now they can be found near Bright Horizons as well as a shrine known as Endless Light. They can be found in lesser quantities all over Shattermind, and Deadlock.
Intelligence and Emotional Capacity:
Average, like most species. They do possess a phenomenal ability to communicate with alternate planes though.
Health:
Very good.
The three most commonly used titles and ranks amongst the Gravelurkers:
Vicar –only one, the ruling authority of the Gravelurkers.
Conjurer –any number of those who communicate with the alternate planes.
Shaman—Gravelurkers who specialize in strange medicine practices.
