Oh, I almost forgot. For anybody interested in a little bit of a back story on Billy, check out this really old animation I did in high school. Maybe one day I'll do an updated version of it, but for now, I can only show you this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GlXJ9Ko0Ee8
A lot of you have already seen that, but for you BH readers that haven't I'd have to say I still dig it despite it being so old (and terribly animated to my current standard)
If any of you are interested in animation, please check out my youtube page.

I suggest The Hat, Vicinity of Obscenity and Robotophile. Real proud of those.

I just have to say that I really love the style you draw this in. The character expressions are great and the story flows nicely. Plus, it kind of reminds me of an older cartoon style. The monochromaticness really adds to it.
Just wondering, did you come up with a plot first and then add characters? Or did you have characters and then add a plot?

Both? I came up with Chi-Bunny and She-Bunny and Rabbit God in high school. They were simple and cartoony, but were ultimately born out of pessimism since I came up with them to get over a bad relationship. I drew them more and more and started liking them a lot. Came up with a little story.
Some time later I wanted to develop a videogame using the Mugen fighting game system (that never happened). So I came up with a cast of characters for it, mostly made out of old characters I came up with in junior high and grade school.
Eventually, I fell more in love with the story and the character's relationship to the story. Didn't matter anymore if it was a game or not, I had to tell the story. See, with the exception of a few characters I invented just for Battle Holiday (Chi-Bunny, She-Bunny, Igachi, and others) all of the characters are from old ideas I had when I was little. Essentially this comic is more or less my way of growing up and retiring these old ideas (hence the body count).
There's a big symbolism going on here that I know isn't very obvious (and it definitely isn't a necessary part of understanding or following the plot.) But I think it's what keeps me coming back, it's just so personal.
Sorry. Prolly WAY longer of a response than you wanted. I might repost this as a journal.
