so I was curious as to how the previous style would look with the blend tool fully back in my arsenal...I ...I think it looks MUCH better XD
OTL I'm all blend....
on the other hand, it doesn't look TOO bad with the lineart, but this only works because of the type of bg I think, not sure how it would compare with buildings and stuff....

awh, i really like both images (this one and the other sunset-y one without the blending) but i gotta agree, i think the blending here looks really nice!
although now that i think of it, i wonder if a lighter colored lineart would fit in more with this kind of background? :O ah man maybe i'm just crazy, hah!
