This is one of my latest characters. His name is Ránshāo, the Chinese word for "combustion". He's my contribution to  lordjaguar's Jade Empire and my first non-mammalian character in the Colmaton Universe.

Sex: Male

Species: Chinese fire-belly newt

Age: 25

Power: Combustion Inducement - Can project concentrated beams of heat from his eyes which, upon contact with the target, produce a powerful explosion.

Summary: Very little is known of Ránshāo, aside from his powers and his apparent animosity against Han Zhaoxing. He, or at least his family, may share some history with Han and/or the Wúxíngjiàn. It was at some point that he captured the attention of the Jade Emperor and was offered a chance at retribution if he joined the Jade Empire.
