So trying to get back into the swing of drawing and not let my skill get too rusty...
I've been wanting to distinguish the elves in the world I'm developing.
Dark elves are mostly arrogant douche bags. They are generally rude and very racist against anything non dark elf. They tolerate humans and high elves. Their primary god celebrates freedom and the pursuit of personal happiness. At whatever cost.

High elves are like hipsters. They are all about protecting the environment and being non violent bla bla bla. So much that they are quite self righteous and snooty. They are a racist in the sense that they pity most other races and feel that everyone needs their help. Their primary god celebrates knowledge and helping those less fortunate than you.

Sun elves are believed to be extinct, but they are just hiding. They are the pinnacle of peace and non violence. They are very kind and calm. Violence is NEVER the answer. Their one and only god celebrates absolute unity and peace. She gave them the ability to influence tranquility with hypnotic music that is played through out their cities. Peace was more important than free will. However, some races were resistant to the music either due to their naturally aggressive nature or through the intervention of a higher being.

Wood elves are the most well rounded and down to earth. They spend much of their time away from the cities and living in self sufficient clans. They care little about magic. They respect their environment and do not interfere with the circle of life. While they are wary of outsiders, they are generally willing to give an outsider a chance, regardless of race. Their gods celebrate nature, life, and death. In the world of elves, they are not liked by dark and high elves. They feel that wood elves resemble gremlins with their oversized ears and brown skin.
