Firstly thanks so much to the artist  Jocarra for this positively beautiful piece of artwork. She's such a wonderful person to work with and always creates amazing work.

The subject of this lovely image is the chieftain of one of my five gryphon tribes. Dawnstar here leads the noble Cloud Dancers, they're a peaceful and gentle group of healers and hunters that dwell near the rocky edges of a vast plain. Here we have Dawn seated at watcher's point, the highest location on the plains where he likes to sit and survey the land beyond, often watching the storms roll in from the distant coast.

Dawn is the quiet one of the five chiefs, a thinker and natural born leader that's well respected by his own people and the other tribes alike. He often serves as the voice of reason when the five chiefs meet to settle differences. By nature he's very gentle and always calm with a compassionate turn about him that sets him apart from the others.

Once the artist finds the time for them I'll be adding the other four gryphons in various settings suitable to their breeds as well. :)
