Now in color. Sorry for ripping of the previous diagram. I was lazy.
The concept of the electric pirate sword alike thingy I came up in Casandro's commission. Basically only the field it emits looks like a cutlass. :3 The rest is my twisted armory concept. The same I sketched up for my own battle gear, if I ever manage to put my own reference picture together. You guys may meet things like this there. I toughed I just do a short ref like thingy of what was in my mind when I sketched this up. Basically it also usable when inst functioning. Haha better the the light saber, isn't it Gorge Lucas? XD Not rechargeable you need to put in a new power source at the hilt when needed. This is not your cellphone if you may noticed. Recharger is not included in the box. Buy ammo. :3 I like the idea of the stronger you grip the powerful the blade gets. It also like a safety system. If you drop it the field goes of so wont cut your self with it by accident. Or eat least it wont be that easy.
Unless you don't change the default setting for the field to stay on.

It's a high tech weapon. The sensors are for a purpose. It monitors it own field and also it's own user. The field deactivates if it closing to the owner. Usually its off anyway when not used, and just hanging around the chest. It just turned on for the show. Field power is almost zero. A new pirate taunt could be "Set cutlass to frag". :3

I think I shouldn't comment on it in that early state. Back when CGI started to become a business, artists would send out their customers because they would be nagging around and wouldn't be satisfied with the final results. When they were sent out and only presented the final result, they always liked it.
