The cockpit is so tiny, it was strange (didn't actually sit in it, just got up to it and talked to ze pilot ^^)

Yeah, most fighters have small cockpits.

Dang, reminds me of the SR-71 Blackbird. the thing looks so much bigger in person! Did you know my dad used to work and Northrup (can't spell) ? and have you by chance ever been to the USS Midway?

Sat in an old Blackbird cockpit once... feels real roomy ('cause the pilots wear spacesuits when in-flight >.<)

You know there was this funny story my dad used to tell me. When he was working at Northrop, he was part of the B-2 Spirit project. of course had no idea what all the nav systems were for but he built them anyway.

anyways, while he was there, the building planner was asked to make what looked like the B-2 in the lawn. there was a triangular concrete path made in the shape of the B-2 and humps of dirt were put in place to simulate the cockpit and engines. they did this, so my dad says, because they thought the Russian's were spying on the facility, hoping to catch a glimpse of the aircraft. when in fact they were staring at it day after day! not the funniest thing ever told but i loled when i heard it!
