This wolf was called the wolf of balance by our photographer group. We have watched him several years and he never really stayed with the pack, he rather avoided it. The result was, that if you have seen him, it meant the others were not there.

Per what I was able to find out, he was not part of the former pack and ever since avoided it and lived alone. Actually this was the first time after a few years, when we have seen him with the pack.
