The positioning and expression on Ricky definitely sells how the little tiger 'chu is feeling quite timid about something. Kind of like one of those, "Who... Me?" feelings.
Perhaps someone he was watching noticed him and said, "Hey, you!" to get his attention? Ricky wasn't expecting to be caught watching but it startled him enough to run to a safer place while bashfully looking back to address whomever called out.
Perhaps the shyness would go away if the individual watching him said, "Hey! We need another player. Wanna' play with us?"
This could make for a happy smile and a 'chu-rific scurry towards good times. :)
