You kidding? It went up in several places. But all the stores were really underestimating the product popularity. Still tho. I'm really glad a lot of scalpers were bumped off.

I'm not kidding. I know someone i guess from target mentioned it, but they had VERY few copies. Like 3-5 of them at most. I given up on it anyway, since it's just a decay paper weight pretty much. Wasn't a bundle like for other countries. I'ma save up for a purple New 3DS XL when the color comes out.

We followed the Kotaku post about this 3DS. There were around 19 updates following it's first post there. And we just kept refreshing to see what was going on. It was pretty funny to see how angry scalpers were when their orders were canceled. All the ebay posts dwindled and their worth went up to around 500$ instead of the 300$ everyone was setting them at. Personally, it's priceless for me because a)Haru bought it for me and b)I'm a huge MM nerd. ; w ;

I'm glad you're happy. x3 I can understand why it's princess since I love MM too. It's sad that it didn't come with the game, or hell this new fab that they're not including the chargers anymore.

I think it has to do with the review, at least partially, left by Kotaku. The smaller model was aimed at kids. So its tiny. The buttons are tiny. But hopefully.

Basically according to Nintendo, Americans are just too dumb to have another option.
At least, that's what can be taken away from their statements on the system not being here.
They really have no excuse for it when Europe still receives it, but Nintendo's going to be Nintendo.

Well it's actually because kids these days are just after tablet games. Nintendo is afraid that they won't really make profit by preparing the smaller N3DS. The smaller one was aimed at children. And NA kids go for tablet games.

I don't believe I ever heard of it being a children thing.

In the Polygon link, they've stated the larger N3DS's "makes the most sense for our market." NA market is generally teens/young adults.

Is the European and Japanese market different?
I'm pretty sure the majority of Nintendo's audience across the world are around teens to young adults, and the other regions are still receiving the small version.
