Once again going back to these two. It's been awhile since I've drawn them underwater. Makes me kinda wish it was summer. Or it could have been due to the songs I was listening while drawing this. A lot of it was from Super Mario Sunshine. In any case, I like how this turned out. Especially since I've drawn the two in positions I've never done before. As usual there is a story to go with it and will be in two parts.

During the sixth month of being together Reno and Leilani went to his native island on Hawaii. The male figured he was due back to another visit not just in general and to see his parents. Plus they could get the chance to meet his girl. Something about her made him think that she was the one. It was different from the girls in the past he had dated.

They had arrived by plane and were settled up in a house not too far from Reno's parents. It was day three since coming and it found both otters watching the sunrise on the bed. The two had made love the night before and so were in the nude.

"It's just so beatiful," the she otter said with a sigh. His muscled arms were around her.

"Does it remind you of your island home?" he asked. "Were the sunrises just as glorious?"

"Perhaps a bit more," answered Lani and snuggled closer into his body. "Thanks for brining me with you Reno. This may not be my island home, but I love it here already."

"I'm glad Lani," he commented and kissed the top of her hair. "Does that mean if you had to you could live here?" She gave him a maybe look.

"So what's the plan today honey?" asked the she otter. Yesterday Reno had taken Leilani to a luau and it had been a great time. Trying the food, seeing fire eaters like her boyfriend, and listening to the music of the islands; it had been a lot of fun.

"I figured I would show you some local places around were I would hang out. My cousin Cody liked them as well. You'll like it."

"Maybe will run into your folks?"

"Most likely," answered Reno. He could tell they loved Leilani in general almost as much as him.

"I like them," she commented. The otter could remember how great cooks the older otters were but especially when it came to shrimp. Thinking about how they made it with that special sauce was enough to make her mouth water.

"Well they certainly like you babe," stated the male. "Now come on, let's get ready." He tried to get up, but Leilani held him with a teasing grin. The black furred otter tried to get her off, but the female was giggling and having fun.

"Sweetie, can you let go of me?"

"What's are the magic words darling?" she asked.

"Please?" Leilani let out a churr of amusement.

"I said words, that's just one."

"I love you?" The she otter kissed him.

"Exactly." The two then got up and ready.

They spent the time exploring the area and going into places that caught their eyes. Leilani just looked around, but Reno could see that most of the males were looking at her. His tail went around the female's body in protection and he glared back at them, showing that she was his. Reno's love for the she otter was that great and he would kill anyone who tried to take her away from him.

The two then stopped for lunch, ordering sea food and things to go with it. Both talked as they ate. It then turned to places to dive. Leilani wanted to do some while here. Reno figured that he could show her his old hunting grounds. But the male wanted to take her somewhere special for that. But where? The answer literally got him in the face. Just as they finished eating, the wind sent a kind of advertisement into his head. Leilani saw this and began to giggle.

"Very funny..." Reno grumbled and took it off. He then read the title which said Otter's Cove. It showed two sea otters, a male and female on a beach. The two were having a kiss. Reno had heard of the place but had never gone. But it did feature a lot of places to dive.

"Hey I think this could work," stated the male. He showed his girl the advertisement. Below the picture was a phone number.

"What is this?"

"One of the best places to hang out for sea otters," explained Reno. "My parents have gone to it before. It's quite fun and has many places to dive. Just like you want to do." The she otter took a closer look at the two otters on the front. Looking closer she thought they looked a lot like her and Reno. She felt him wrap his arms around her body. "We could... you know..." Leilani didn't need any more convincing.

Two days latter found the two at the place. The she otter was already excited for this. Reno on the other hand learned as much information as he could to make sure the two could have as much fun as possible. The first day was spent on the beach and cooking flat bread and sea food in makeshift ovens on the beach. The lovers had spent it with others which included a variety of different species. But a lot of them were other otters, dolphins, and sharks. During the night they sat around a big campfire and it was here that Leilani's knowledge of ocean dwellers was expanded. This was because tales were told, a few she had never heard of before. Two in particular were the tales of The United Lands of the Poseidon Ocean and Monstro. The first one was an ancient kingdom of the sea that was attacked one day. The other was about a whale of a whale who was a monster that devoured anyone and anything. It was a child's tale to make little sea otter pups behave and to not swim too far out to sea, least they get swept away.

The next day was a chance for diving. Reno took her to a spot by boat. Leilani was in a new swim suit that had a strapless top and colored orange. The she otter held onto him all the time. Occasionally, he would stroke her tail or giver her behind a playful squeeze, causing his girl to churr.

"Here we are," stated Reno after a bit. "We can dive here to reach the place."

"Let's go babe," Leilani commented. They took the deepest breath possible before heading into the water. It was warm and crystal clear. The she otter kept swimming around her lover with a huge smile. Leilani was back in one of the places she loved. Reno just swam down, leading the way. Suddenly he felt his girl get on top of him, her long black hair moving like sea weed. Leilani grabbed his shoulders. Not slowing down, the two swam to the area. Reno could tell that were they were by the single stalk of sea weed and huge rock. They acted as natural markers. Leilani noticed a single colorful jelly fish above them. Her eyes then looked ahead and could see a forest of kelp up ahead. Not a big one, but a good sized one. The she otter could help but smile. She hoped that Reno was thinking the same lines as her. The two made their way towards it.
