EEEeeeee!!! That potion has worked its wonders very well! =D
Fantastic job with this Ink! The progression and difference within each panel is handled very nice, with slim pose and closed eyes at the start, slowly taking up more space and the eyes opening up as she transforms. I love how the position of arms change as well, with the right arm raised and the lower arm held out, then the balanced positioning in the middle, ending off with now the right "arm" held out and the left "arm" raised up. It's always nice to see the "transformation" happening not just in the form of the character, but also the positioning of them as well.
Is it just me, or did her hair grow longer during the transformation? At the start the length of the ponytail and that little bit of hair on the front seem to be about right, but by the final panel, her ponytail is massive and that strand of hair extends down further. Hair growth, a side-effect from the potion? Perhaps, but I like it! I've recently become interested in the hair growth transformations, so I'm quite fond of what I see!
The elongating body and reforming arms is handled in a nice, visually tame manner, but still has enough stuff going on to inform the viewer that something mighty strange is happening with the ends of them. The expressions on the snakes has some good variety to them; I like how the one closest to Katheln's face has their mouth open like she does. Her right snake catches my attention - it doesn't have the same "happy" look that the others do, but rather looks a bit concerned. I think the neutral-looking mouth and that line above the eye is what's creating that look for me.
The more I look at this, ironically, I'm finding myself more cautious about that lower snake instead of Katheln herself. While the snake looks quite devious, Katheln actually looks really cute, especially when I look at her face. Plus with those cute arms to wrap around and nuzzle with, I would love to cuddle with her! It's as if all her sinister looks were condensed and transfered into that lower snake. I had a funny feeling that having you draw one of my more sadistic characters was going to be interesting~ ^^
Very fun and excellent work - I really love how this turned out! Thank you so much Ink! ^__^
