"This isn't happening, this can't be happening!" Lux stammered and repeated variations of the only sentence she could coherently form amidst such terror. Early symptoms of The Void's influence arrived via green, leathery skin which in turn brought changes that washed away Lux's nose and delicate hands so that it could begin replacing them with a snout and talons. She could feel her ability to breathe through her nose taken away. The merging fingers she was also inspecting were of equal concern as she both flinched and gasped in alarm and for air. It was the same story for her feet, or talons as they were, as they had progressed through their transformation far quicker than her hands.
