In the RPG I'm in (Aspen), Macabre leads a pack called Mordechai. Before the pack became official, her son Simon grudgingly followed Macabre. However, he decided to leave his mother's side for his original pack Kiskana, since he felt his mother ruled like a dictator.

Macabre, feeling betrayed and hating Kiskana with a passion, attacked him and tore his shoulder to the bone. Simon got away and healed but suffers a slight but permanent limp and sporadic, painful muscle spasms.
