It seems like the only content I have time to show off lately is my artist alley table setups because I'm so busy making stuff for all these cons I'm going to XD
This is Katsucon 2015, my first time on the east coast! I didn't get to eat a lot of crab like I wanted because the hours were so long in the alley and due to the parking and area it was like we were trapped in this little expensive tourist area. Also it was absolutely freezing bitter cold because we were so close to the ocean (National Harbor Maryland) so it wasn't very appealing to go walking around the little mini city outside XD But that's my biggest regret, I lvoe crab so much and really wanted to eat some.
But uh... the display, right. Nothing too different from Ohayocon, but the cool thing was I was really wiped out on stock after ohayocon two weeks previous and busted my ass to make as much as possible in the two weeks leading to katsu so the amount I had on my table was a bit of an achievement.
So yeah :)

Also, love the rack of rainbowsauruses
If it makes you feel better though, there's really not much in terms of good crab/seafood in the general National Harbor area. National Harbor itself is kinda meh for food, though Elevation Burger is pretty good! I usually stay in Fairfax (~30min away) for cheap hotels and awesome late-night food options (hot pot open til midnight, 24/7 Korean restaurant, etc.)
If you'll be at Otakon this summer though, Baltimore has a ton of delicious offerings! Especially if you're driving in - G&M makes one of the best crab cakes (you can even order them online lol!), so I always swing past on my way home from the con and stock up.
