Some mysterious force has changed the entire world into an endless, almost featureless desert. And worse than the lack of food, water and the oppressive heat, there are monsters lurking beneath the sand.

We call them sandigos (Portmanteau of Sand and Wendigo).

Suffice to say they are unpleasant and bloodthirsty.

We'll see what becomes of the characters after this plot.
