Getting more work done. A great relief. Not just because I owe it to people, but it's proof that I CAN pull myself out of this valley of the braindead that I seem to have been wandering in for the last month.

This did happen in real life. The whole book is based on a true story. Didn't all happen on the same day, but it did all happen.

Hmmmm, So the "...May god strike me now..." lightning bolt didnt play into this part at all. Now i'm really curious when it will be used. Wish I'd been able to pick up this Karno Klassic several years ago so I would already know... ^_^

I wonder how this bunch of merry pranksters would react if someone played an equally evil trick on them and got them arrested. Ya think they'd be so jovial then?

They're not hysterical fanatics. In order to "get them arrested", the fellas playing the "trick" would have to do something illegal, like planting drugs. The Spokane PBs did not break the law - they just played to their target's vicious predjudice.
