A concept for an alien creature for my cousin's video game/book series (he's so much like me ^^). Working name is "Death Crab;" am actively looking for a better name.
I tried several different approaches and came up empty-handed. Until one day I went with a sudden idea to use a snapping turtle as a reference. Combine it with some elements of Metroid Prime Space Pirates and aquatic life such as lobsters, and we have this.
