This time it's one of the giant tree groves, where the snaking trees that form most of the forest are reduced to mere epiphyte while the dominant plant are trees of gargantuan proportions with black, spiny bark, leaves of all kinds of colours and double rows of orange-glowing patches. The patches flare up in regular pulses that travel upwards, accompanied by a loud, deep pounding that sounds like a heartbeat. A pretty horrible place to sleep in because of the soundscape.
