Nice sketches! Especially the second one! I like seeing micros try and prevent the inevitable ^^ and obligatory foot xD
I can see why you'd want to scrap it with the sudden size change, though if neither character has any background, maybe you could just make it a property of the alien, that it could just stretch its size or something? Just a thought if you intend on drawing more of them!
