I guess the east off Scotland managed to get away from some of the snow chaos.

When I said I don't know how anything with vulpine blood can survive these climates I was referring to the high temperatures of Australia and California. Vulpines don't just survive cold climates, they love them and love in them. Those ARE fox weather. It's why I often quip that I have fox blood, hence I thrived in -40°C for the short time I was overseas. My lungs burned for the first 20 seconds each time I went outside and my nostrils froze up, but I still loved it.

However, yes I'd completely forgotten about fennec foxes and their habitat.
