Cheesy sappy love song lyrics to go with this adorable icon set. <3 That song from Pocahontas just really changed to a whole 'nother level when I finally took a leap of faith and decided to try for a relationship with one of my best friends.
I remember when we first met, as funny as it sounds, he seemed so young LOL. But that moment when we were first introduced, I figured he was just a nice person that I could get to know as another friend. It stayed that way for a very long time. I'd always sort of admired from a far, so to speak, and would just watch him hanging out with other people whenever we both went to meet ups.
It was only after I decided to actually start talking to him, instead of just watching, that I realized that there was a lot more to this man than I realized. The more we started to hang out with smaller crowds and just took the chance to get to know him on a more personal level, I realized there could very well be more to this friendship. But even after that realization, it took a couple more years before I took that leap of faith.
The entire time we spent together alone for the first time, I was rather nervous and scared and didn't really say anything. At this point, I cared so much for him as a friend, I was worried if something went wrong down the road that that friendship would dissolve and I'd lose something I had cherished. But as the night ticked on, I realized there really wasn't any need to worry if the friendship would disappear. If anything, it'd only grow more from this point on.
It has.
February is our anniversary month. It's a month that I remember, how truly lucky and blessed I am to have such an amazing wolf, man, in my life. So I really wanted to make a cute icon set that just captured that. More than once, this chilvarous wolf has kissed my hand, and I couldn't help but add it in an icon as a captured moment. ^^
