Blinded by his desire for the power the tear held,
Apollyon's studies only took him as far as what the energy could be used for,
never what might lie beyond in wait.

Unknowingly, the tear led to the Other,
where Gatekeeper decides the fate of the departed souls,
sending them to the bellies of demons, or on to the Next.

Though time flows differently in the Other,
Apollyon's meddling had not gone without notice,
and finally, he comes eye to eye with the Gatekeeper.

Ahhhh, I've always admired the fake screenshots, and I thought I'd try my hand at it. ;u;
Not gonna lie, this was a lot of messing around and I'm still not quite happy with how the tear turned out. Ehehe.

Oh well, it was still really fun and didn't take too long. Once I doodled it in my sketchbook, I knew it had to be a full piece. <3
