When I lived with my parents, we lived in an apartment with six floors, and basically every person in the building had cats who all pissed in the stairs.

These arent new complaints, I've lived here since 2006, but it seems like every annoyance is always replaced with new annoyances

The neighbor that is based on does have a kid, just one that seems to delight in waking up at odd hours and shriek like a banshee

Every child is like that everywhere and always - especially now that computer screens make brain think it day with UV bird-eye magic.

My neighbor below me is very noisy, I often hear him using power tools and have loud visitors during the evening. I'll play my music loud if you don't mind!

Sounds like my place. I paid extra for a townhome so I wouldn't have neighbors above or below, but this was cancelled out by the neighbors on either side, both of which have several preteen children and what I can only call dogs because I don't think dire wolves would submit to a leash... every weekday from three pm till 1 am it sounds like an avalanche of bowling balls on the stairs.

I've been told both those problems can be solved by rat poison hidden in hamburger meat
