This actually made me think of an element of terror that was only used in SH3, which was interesting. instead of shrouding an area in darkness, bleach it with light. (I'm referring somewhat to the red light in the haunted house part)

not only is it then painful to see what's coming for you, it won't come into focus until it really close. That was kinda the idea behind this one.
