Rebecka was a result of a breeding process that nearly back-fired which left her three-fourths wild blooded, hence her somewhat more exotic appearance. Due to said heritage, she was more than a hand full not long after she hatched in Dusk’s care (her trainer.) At one point in time Rebecka managed to squirm free from her trainer’s grasp and fell into a lake, of which she nearly drowned. Since that point Becky mellowed out quite a bit from her near-death experience and developed a rather morbid fascination with water.
There was no taking the wild out of her, however; months later, Dusk and his party returned to the ranch where Rebecka was conceived so that they may follow-up with the breeders. That very evening, Becky ran off into the forest. Dusk and a search party discovered her nearly two weeks later, but in almost completely unrecognizable state since she had evolved during that time. It was evident that she had been hunting in the area to survive, apparently quickly taking to her wild habits as a predator. Hell, Becky probably would’ve been left alone since she appeared to have been part of a wild brood if she didn’t recognize Dusk and Jenine.
Another point in time Becky managed to run off in was at the World Trade Center and was nearly sent off to another part of the globe. She was found at the center of the building in a hold, terrified before Dusk could eventually take her back. SInce then Rebecka seemed to have developed a sense of claustrophobia; constantly lost in a sea of people and Pokemon she didn’t know, locked away into a detention center to keep her from trouble, scarcely enough room to breath.. She didn’t have fun.
Eventually Rebecka grew into a Blaziken. Not many would have recognized her whatsoever with her rather cooled personality and rather startlingly different appearance. She became a giant of her kind, easily towering over the average Blaziken by at least seven inches. In a way to keep Rebecka’s cheerful demeanor and heightened enthusiasm in check, she was entered into every contest they happened upon. After all, there had to be some way to keep her excitability in check outside of picking random fights.
Though no matter how many contests or battles Rebecka had, there was no taking that predatory nature out of her. Sometimes she would venture off when no one was looking and begin a hunt. This has gotten her and Dusk in some serious trouble from time-to-time as she would find young trainer’s Pokemon while they were training in the woods. Fortunately she didn’t manage to kill and eat them, but this was mostly because Duck and/or Jenine caught her before she could. Since then, an effort was put to keep Becky fed, juggling her diet so she wouldn’t be bored with any of the flavors, and was given plenty of attention and affection. This ebbed her desires to hunt extraordinarily so, but every now and again she would sneak off. Difference being, however, is that she learned to spot the identification tags on domestic Pokemon, so no more troubles with other trainers or law enforcement (usually).
Becky’s still an affectionate hen and is usually quite silly. But like any wild animal, she requires much more attention than your average domestic.
