Just call him Leo. ... But even he will concede that "Leonard Lagunov Zvezdnoye" is a mighty cool--and mighty big--name for such a little guy! His father gave it to him, he was a Swoobat fellow who had high hopes for his little ones to grow big and outshine the very stars. Leo hasn't seen his family in a few years since signing on to study with a famous science person, but he is not so sure he minds that too much: it can be difficult, being one of thirteen siblings! Nowadays, he's Wren's research assistant. He also flies to get a better view of the nests of bird pokemon, and is gifted in flying quietly, though not for long periods of time. He also has light step and a quiet demeanor, and often sneaks up on people without meaning to. He can be difficult to understand through his thick accent; it is often easier to simply not speak at all. Though even in his native language, he isn't particularly talkative. This doesn't stop him from being a fine assistant, however! He and Wren have a good unspoken dialogue between them, a level of synchronization and understanding that makes them a good team. But she does get a kick out of resting her assorted water bottles, coffee cups, and clipboards on his head, since he's just about the perfect height for it... Not very professional! Also not very easy, with his giant ears. (but still hilarious)

It is unclear whether he's simply young, or merely LOOKS young... Members of the science team have a few high-stakes bets running on his age, it's actually rather involved. Lilita has invested quite a lot of money--and her pants--on him being at least 35. We'll just see if she gets to keep those pants or not, eh?
