I was 21 when I drew this and by this point in my life, I was starting to get political. This amounted to my first official socio-political commentary. From this moment on, I would be a constant pest to The Boston Herald with my weekly letters-to-the-editor for thre rest of the decade. But never mind that. I give my frustrated but sarcastic take on an accident that happened on Boston's Green Line subway on New Year's Eve with Richard as protangonist. This was submitted to, but rejected by, my university's newspaper.
