I feel for you, man. Every once in a while, my IP goes down for service, and then I'm left to find something else to do. It's not easy. My list of other things to do is too big, I can't choose.

They always go down for service at the time that I am using it the most... why can't they understand that I need my internet at 2 in the morning!?

I just got my power and thus, my Internet back this morning; haven't had it since Sunday. No water (I live out, got a well), had to rely on a generator to keep the fidges going, and of course, no Internet.

Never been so BORED in my life. At least, in recent memory...

Ouch man, that stinks... this is why I also keep a pencil and some paper available should my power go out, also if I don't feel like drawing, there is always books.

Heavy winds from the remnants of Hurricane Ike. The storm curved to the northwest after devastating Galveston, and it came right through the Ohio valley. There's some wierd weather phenomenon that went on before the storm hit: its intense low pressure allowed high-speed high altitude winds to descend to ground level, and thus, Ohio gets 74 MPH wind gusts shoved up its ass. Fallen trees is what caused it, they took out the power lines.

I know what you mean! i hate it when i get thos errors, and i spend an extra twenty minutes trying to find an alternate route to FA. and my school's laptop almost blocked it out! man, then i would have to pay a thousand dollars cause i would have shot the crap out of this thing.

Yeah, strangly enough in my school, FA was never blocked, but Adult Swim's Message Boards was blocked. I guess FA is more tame than we think it is. Either way, it wasn't blocked that way, it was just that my provider went down for a while.

Maybe if you randomly shrunk and had an adventure on your desk you wouldn't be so bored.

Yeah, that is like stuff ALL over my desk... bits of this and that, soda cans, random papers, cups, a jar of peanuts, dvds, some unidentifible stuff. It would be great fun to have a shrinking adventure, but I doubt my desk would be a safe place to have it.
