I've never considered myself a concept artist by any means, and I know I have much to learn. This was an exercise in color values, sense of space, and getting practice on painting clouds. This also is a sneak peek into the world I am creating for the graphic novel. Notice the city and farmlands on the closer mountain. ;) I hope to get a lot better at this kind of stuff throughout the year.
