Recently, BBC Radio 4 Extra is repeating an audio adaptation of "The Jungle Book" - the true, original version, not the Disney version that everybody and anybody knows of =P

Amongst the cast members, this version includes Eartha Kitt as Kaa - who also voiced the hilarious Yzma from "The Emperor's New Groove".

So captivating was Eartha Kitt's performance that I felt inspired to draw Kaa as originally penned by Kipling: as one of Mowgli's mentors / guardians. I also tried out a few new things here in terms of drawing and colouring and so-forth.
