The tension in the stadium continued to rise as the clock neared zero. The ball ricocheted back and forth across the field, twice making its way to the opposing goal and twice being deflected by the orangutan goalie. As the ape punted the ball back down the field a second time the cacophonous sounds of the crowd was almost deafening. However, with less than 30 seconds on the clock, the moment the opposing team had feared finally happened. Kentaro Foon stole the ball.

The dragon moved like water, his sliding tackle stealing the football from under the nose of a surprised cheetah and spiriting it away up the field. The bronze scaled dragon snaked his way back and forth, dodging around opposing team members and making his way towards the goal with single-minded intent. The game had been tied since before halftime, and now was the chance to end it once and for all.

The screams of the fans hammered across the field as Ken dodged yet another tackle attempt, leaving him with nothing but the goalie between him and the net. He grinned widely as a quick glance confirmed what he had been looking for, then he hauled off and gave the ball a solid kick.

Instead of flying towards the goal, however, the shot went wide. Not a goal kick at all, but a flying pass to his twin brother, Gorou Foon, who had been making his way up the other side of the field the entire time. While Ken was undoubtedly the fastest member of the team, everyone knew that when it came to kicking no one could beat Goro.

As the clock counted down from 10 the second Foon brother leapt up to meet the ball, pivoting his body to swing around into a perfect bicycle kick. The sound of his foot impacting the ball could even be heard over the roar of the crowd.
