I've been enjoying this too, even though I've been keeping quiet somehow - I really like how you've drawn his manic hand-waving getting increasingly more exaggerated throughout this scene, and the officer's hand clamped around his muzzle in the panel afterwards :)

I'm failing to see exactly what the two guys did to deserve being tormented in this way...you've explained that the unicorn girl found them somewhere, but you've yet to explain exactly why they're so bad and deserving of torment....outside of the fact that they're religious.

3rd panel says it better than I ever could. I lived across the street from an entire family of Jehova's Witnesses for 5 years before my family sold the house and moved to Arkansas. Wonderful people, but dont try to live your life where they can see it... many other groups arent much better than they are either. "Y'all can go ta hell, we're goin ta Arkansas!"
Since this is stated as being based on a Rl event, I just wish this fun group had been on my street sometime in those 5 years. Hopefully they've opened the mind of the poor acolyte(?) being dragged around by the main speaker.

I understand the idea. There are Christian fanatics who give the rational people in their religion a bad name. They haven't really even stated what the two Christians in this story did wrong, nor did they really give them a chance to say anything before they began to torment them.

Now, my biggest problem is that the unicorn girl invited them in. If you're not interested in what someone in a religion has to say, why do you purposely seek them out? In this case, you're not really trying to make a statement you're just badgering someone for the sake of making them look foolish, and as you may or may not know, spurning someone is the easiest way to boost your ego. That's why little kids are mean to each other so often, they don't have a real grasp of self-gratification.

I don't like all this making fun of faith. but I Will say to Forget Tuscon if you're a bicyclist. Come to Portland, Oregon. We have the bike lanes that painted, and even bike boxes to get ahead of cars. we have tons of bike shops, we have a velodrome, and regularly scheduled rides through the city. that and paved trails. Come to Portland if you like to bicycle.

I'm really liking this story arc.
