Haha, well you aren't the only one who wishes they could protect those in need. My ponysona (see my picture to the left) is Midnight Aegis, and his thing is that he is a, well, protector. His specialty is protective magic, and is not one for idling standing by while others suffer. So trust me, I know the desire to help others can be strong, though I don't know just how strong it is for you. Though this picture does lead to quite the emotionally charged ideas, for the better and not the worse ^^

that's a really great concept for a ponysona! you must be a really great person, and aegis must be a really great pony. i'm sure he and pen would get along wonderfully. pen cares a lot about everypony around him, and he does what he can to help them. his coltfriend silver cares too, but he helps in a much more subtle way - his cutie mark is a drop of water creating ripples in a pond, signifying that his presence ripples outwards and changes the lives of those around him. they're a kind pair and i'm sure they'd have a nice time hanging out with aegis (even if silver is incredibly shy and quiet).
