Thanks a lot. And no I haven't lol I'm a Space Marine fan for sure. I haven't really wanted to read any Chaos books so my work has really been limited to the Space Marines and Imperial Guard. I will say that Chaos can have some really cool variety, though. I converted a model to get a Death Guard Terminator which was incredibly fun.
oh yeah, even if your not a fan of chaos, they just have seem really neat variety and uniqueness to their models =D so I love looking them over. whenever im better at drawing I wanna try to do a detailed fanart of one =D I dig the space marines too, mostly since they are just all around likable and neat units and lorewise XP
I know the feeling, I've had the same issues, painting something that look dark but not TOO dark only to have everyone complain, I lighten it so to me it look silly... but then somehow to everyone else its fine? Takes some messing about to get it just right.. such a hassle!
