I've been wanting to draw that girl for a long time. I've found a use for this character lately for a D&D game I'll be playing with my friend Jay.

Her origins are a bit random, I saw her in a dream. She was the type of girl at school who's invisible. Not particularly disliked or even bullied but not much liked either. People pretty much ignored her and she kept her no-nonsense face and kept studying hard and minding her own business. Until, in the dream, someone attacked the school and held everyone hostage in the gym. The girl who barely talked, stood up to the armed aggressor with this statement: '' Hunt me, and if I manage to avoid all of your bullets, you will let everyone go''. The deal was accepted and the girl was allowed out of school within a certain range or else the shooter would kill the others. (As weird as it sounds, she does manage to win her bet and save everyone, becoming a hero, despite only doing so to preserve her usual environment, ''the school she learned to love'' as she put it)

That's pretty much the dream. She didn't have a name, except that the guy with the gun called her a ''star''. No idea why, but I decided that in my game, behind her serious and bland facade, her dream is to become an astronaut.

Her name was decided later on with the help of my friend :3 Her name is Kitana Dallaire but everyone call her Katie, and it's fine with her.
