I made a larger version of my Retro Waffles icon for my LiveJournal. Since this gave me more space to play in, I decided to give it a border that made it 50 x 50 and doubled it in size so that was the standard LJ icon size of 100 x 100 while retaining its blocky nature.
Postscript: Full view shows it in its normal size. Counterintuitive, isn't it?
