Oh, I almost forgot about this image. Hmmm, is it even an appropriate submission here? If it isn't, please let me know. In any case, I built this late 2005, over the course of about 5 days.
This is based on one of the core ships from the Konami game Gradius. I tried to keep some in - game details intact, like the three shields between the front of the ship and its 'core.' Of course, the harmless foam projectiles can be fired. At first, I wasn't sure how I was going to represent its thrusters, but I got over that. You probably noticed that I used a red piece on the right thruster and a lime on the left. ^_^
